Our Story
A Family Business Built to Last
S&R Contracting was founded in 2023 by Justin Rogers, a licensed and insured general contractor based in Huntsville, Alabama. Justin built the company on a straightforward belief: that homeowners deserve a contractor who communicates clearly, plans intentionally, and delivers quality work without the runaround.
S&R is a true family business, built on the belief that homeowners deserve better than a contractor who shows up and disappears. When you hire S&R, you get a team that treats your home with the same care and accountability they would give their own.
From full home renovations to additions, screened porches to custom builds, S&R takes on projects that require real coordination and care, not just the simple ones.
The Origin
Why Construction
Justin’s path into the trade started with a love of problem-solving: the mechanics of how things are built, why materials behave the way they do, and how a plan on paper becomes something real you can walk through.
After years in the field learning every phase of construction, Justin recognized a consistent gap: homeowners were being left in the dark. Projects ran over budget because no one planned thoroughly. Timelines slipped because no one communicated proactively. Quality suffered because contractors were chasing volume instead of craft.
S&R was built to be different: a company where process is as important as the finished product, and where every client feels informed, respected, and taken care of from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
